With the project Development of the EYE mobile community centre, we follow up on a previous successful project, with which we travelled for a year and a half through six districts in Prague with a rich destigmatisation and cultural programme. This will not be the case in the next period, when we will focus more on schools for which we will prepare a special educational programme. Destigmatization activities are also planned in cooperation with individual ICUs for the general public, professionals and family and friends of persons with experience of mental illness. In each district, the mobile community center will remain for 2 months, creating a unique temporary meeting place. The goal remains the same – through contemporary art to highlight the problem of social exclusion of people with experience of mental illness.
The activities of the EYE raise awareness of the problems of their lives and involve them in the cultural and social life of the capital city of Prague. Under the activation programmes, the target group of the project prepares and provides an interactive destigmatisation programme of the mobile cultural centre. The project runs from March 2019 to January 2021.
