Since 2009, we have been organizing retrospective exhibitions of renowed foreign and domestic artists or groups and have been involved in the inclusion of sociailly disadvantaged people back into everyday life through art.
In 2012, we organized a large-scale exhibition of the Czech-Slovak Surrealist Group called Jiný vzduch (Other Air) and two years later, in 2014, in cooperation with the Prague City Gallery, we transformed the Stone Bell House into Tim Burton and His World. The offer of 2017 for visitors to the same place – a glimpse into David Cronenberg‘s film kitchen.
The celebration of the 30th anniversary of the world’s most famous animation studio Pixar took place in 2019 in the Křižík Hall E at the Holešovice Exhibition Centre in Prague. The year 2022 was marked by Czech animation – with the exhibition Worlds of Czech Animation in the Prague Market Hall, we commemorated the beautiful 75 years of this field in the Czech Republic. This exhibition continued in 2023 at the Ostrava Agricultural Museum in cooperation with the University of Ostrava.
We are currently working towards an exhibition of the internationally acclaimed filmmaker, director, screenwriter, writer and visual artist, Tim Burton, to take place in the spring of 2024. From 1.5.2024 to 30.9.2024 we look forward to seeing you on the 2nd floor of the Municipal House, Prague 1!
We also deal with social issues. For a number of years we have been mapping the issue of mental health in the Czech Republic in the European context, creating destigmatization activities and other types of support for the inclusion of people with experience of mental illness into everyday life in cooperation with leading Czech and foreign experts. Results of our projects are available here.
We are also one of the founders of “Prague Mental Care Association“, an open initiative of organizations and individuals from Prague, united by common goals in the field of mental health.
Since September 2022 we have been operating at / Tusarova 1521/26, Prague 7 – Holešovice, 170 00 / CENTRUM TUSARKA 26 / 2 social services: social rehabilitation and a low threshold club for children and youth /.
